Criminals may target Chaim Haberfeld, given his vulnerable nature away from home!
Before disappearing, Chaim Haberfeld ran his own business, Haimon The Watch Doctor, where he traded luxury watches and jewelry. He often shared pictures of watches on his Instagram and worked closely with the NYC Watcher.
Further, his company strived to provide its clients with the best service, quality, and prices. Haberfeld, who comes from a Jewish background, also worked closely with Israeli traders.
In addition to his business, Haberfeld used his social account to support Israel in the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Moreover, in one of his previous posts, he wrote, “Wherever I stand, I will stand with Israel.“
Given his connection with wealthy dealers and jewelry traders, authorities issued a notice stating that Haberfeld may be especially vulnerable to manipulation, adding concerns that an organized gang might be responsible for his disappearance.
Additionally, the police’s inability to locate Haberfeld has sparked community rumors, with many claiming that people he dealt with over the last days of Chag took him captive.
Speculations suggest that Haberfeld had been in contact for a few days after being held, but no information came from him after 24 hours. However, family members urged Facebook users to stop speculations as he might be in a difficult situation.
In a recent post, one of his friends wrote, “We are constantly monitoring the situation from far and sending any info we get to the right people. Please do not post or comment with information that you cannot prove.“
As the investigations are underway, authorities have requested that people only share credible news online as confusion has arisen among the community, making it difficult to find more information about Haberfeld.
