Oftentimes, court judges are the last resort for victims seeking justice, but what if, instead of putting an end to their suffering, they add to it and blemish their solemn vow to be fair?
It appears that’s exactly what happened with Atul Subhash when he, unfortunately, met Judge Rita Kaushik during the trial with his wife, Nikita Singhania.
Although Atul Subhash is no more, as he took his life at Munnekolalu home in Marathahalli, he left a 24-page note and a 90-minute video revealing details about everything, including the role of Rita Kaushik before taking his final step.

While details about the case are sparking widespread debate online, one particular event detail where Judge Rita Kaushik laughed when Atul’s wife encouraged him to take his own life has outraged netizens to their core.
Speaking about taking one’s own life in front of the entire court is deeply concerning, but laughing at it as if it’s a joke is even worse.
It only conveys that Atul’s life meant nothing but just a convenient source of money to his wife.
Judge Rita Kaushik demanded INR 500,000 from Atul Subhash as a bribe to settle his case!
According to Atul’s note and video, he stated that his wife, Nikita Singhania, had filed nine cases against him, alleging that he and his family harassed her for dowry, domestic violence, and unnatural offenses.
In his video, he said, “My wife has registered nine cases against me. Six cases are in the lower court and three in the high court.“
Claiming the charges filed were false, Atul revealed that his wife once dropped a case only to file a new one. Since then, the 34-year-old Atul has been living alone, away from his 4-year-old son.

His wife, Nikita, first demanded INR 10,000,000 as divorce alimony and received INR 40,000 monthly as maintenance. However, she allegedly increased and demanded INR 30,000,000 as alimony and almost $400,000 as maintenance.
The tragic part is that when he sought justice from the family court, Judge Rita Kaushik allegedly favored his wife.
When Atul pointed out NCRB data of men taking their own lives because of false accusations, his wife responded, “So, why don’t you commit sui**de then?” To which Judge Rita Kaushik laughed.
Then, without hesitation, she tells him that these cases are often fake, so she will help him get over it if he gives her INR 500,000 bribery.
She also warned Atul that if he doesn’t comply, his parents will have to deal with court hassle for the rest of their lives.

Moreover, the court’s peon also demanded INR 300,000 to secure a court date, and when he refused, the judge demanded he pay INR 80,000 in alimony and maintenance every month.
After watching everything Atul left, netizens held his wife and the paralyzed judicial system accountable.
They are demanding that parasites like Judge Rita Kaushik, who thrive daily, exploiting the victims’ vulnerable situations, must be put behind bars.
