Anthony Nephew, a Minnesota man, took the life of his wife, son, ex-partner, and their son with a firearm before taking his own life on November 7, 2024, Thursday.
According to reports, Duluth police have not determined a motive for the tragic act. Still, police chief Mike Ceyonowa said at a news conference that Anthony Nephew, a 46-year-old suspect, had a “Pattern of mental health issues.”
Furthermore, an initial investigation by the Duluth police department shows that a 47-year-old Duluth resident and ex-partner of Anthony Nephew, Erin Abramson, and their 15-year-old son, Jacob Nephew, were located deceased from apparent firearm wounds in the 6000 block of Tacony Street.

Similarly, the police officers made entry into the home of the suspect in the 4400 block of West 6th Street, where they found 45-year-old Kathryn Nephew Ramsland, wife of Anthony, and his 7-year-old son Oliver Nephew’s lifeless body.
They also located Anthony Nephew’s lifeless body in the house; he sh*t himself with the firearm after taking the life of his family.
Moreover, this tragic incident has become the town talk where many people speculate that Anthony Nephew took the heart-wrenching step over Donald Trump winning.
One Twitter post states that Anthony Nephew suffered from mental health issues and had become increasingly concerned about the prospect of a Trump-led government.
Another Twitter post stated that the late Anthony Nephew’s social media seemed to show that he was concerned about Trump returning to the White House and was suffering from mental issues.
In response to the post, many wrote in the comment section that they were devastated by the tragic news and that the country needs more mental health services for people like Anthony.

Moreover, his Facebook post made people believe that he might have taken the tragic action following Trump’s victory in the recent presidential election.
One Facebook post blamed Media and the Democrats’ propaganda, stating that Anthony Nephew posted numerous times on his social media accounts that his mental health could not co-exist in a world with Trump, Republicans, or Chrstians and warned of a violent response.
Anthony Nephew took to his Facebook account on July 21, 2024, to write, “The Republican answer to domestic violence, make it harder for the women to leave.” expressing his views on Trump and his government.
However, despite speculation, it is not sure that Anthony Nephew took such a tragic action over Trump winning.
Many people, including the Duluth Police Department, sent their prayers and thoughts to the victim’s families and loved ones.
