The x2Twins no longer stream, post YouTube videos, or participate in the Fortnite competitive scene.
Similarly, their social media accounts remain mostly inactive, with little updates limited to her personal life.
This sudden disappearance of x2Twins since 2022 has become the talk of the town, and many are curious to know if Jesse and Jordan are planning to continue their streaming journey.
One Twitter user wrote, “What happened to the x2Twins?” To which they responded that they might be earning more on their YouTube content, so they decided to stop streaming.
Many believe that they are more focused on enjoying their life and traveling to a different place, while some believe that the Twin brothers might have passed away.
Similarly, one Twitter post from October 2021 stated, “It’s with great sadness that we have to inform you that x2Twins (Jesse) has changed his Fornite username. As a result, he will be parting ways with PWR.“
Moreover, one Twitter user on November 15, 2024, posted that Jordan and Jesse Eckley, the talented duo known as x2Twins, passed away due to heart failure.
Despite the rumors, Jordan and Jesse Eckley seem perfectly fine, as they recently streamed on Twitch.
However, despite several concerns, x2Twins hasn’t revealed what happened to them, and their future in gaming and content creation remains uncertain.
x2Twins began their journey as professional gamers in 2018
The gaming duo, renowned for their Fornite gameplay, started their streaming journey in 2018 and has become one of the biggest names in the Oceania region.
Known for their highly skilled gameplay, they have also amassed millions of subscribers on their YouTube.
Moreover, x2Twins first gained people’s attention by winning major Fortnite tournaments in 2018. With their exceptional gaming skills, they soon qualified for the Fornite World Cup in 2019.
Unfortunately, due to limited qualifying spots for the OCE region, Jesse and Jordan faced several challenges; however, Jordan managed to qualify in the solo category and finished 96th out of 100 players.
Despite his lower ranking, Jordan still earned $50,000. After the World Cup, the x2Twins transitioned to playing in the Fornite Champion Series tournament.
Their trio team, joined by the player VKS, quickly became one of the top teams in OCE, winning several weeks in FNCS.
Likewise, x2Twins rose into prominence after the COVID-19 pandemic; with more people at home watching streams and playing games, Twitch viewership increased, reaching thousands of regular viewers.
They also succeeded with their YouTube content, which pulled millions of views, earning them millions of subscribers.
As their content creation career grew, their gaming and streaming focus declined. In 2022, their streaming activity significantly dropped, with only 66 days of streaming recorded for the entire year.
