Vendula Wendy Rose, an Ohio woman who went missing during her camping trip at Cheaha State Park, is reported to have been discovered deceased in the area.
Per Cleburne County’s Facebook page, they dispatched their team to the area of Highway 281, approximately 5 miles northeast of the Cheaha State Park, after a hunter informed them about locating a woman’s body on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
After a thorough investigation, the officials now believe that the body the hunter discovered is none other than of the missing Ohio woman, Wendy Rose.
Upon notification of family, with the assistance of the Cleburne County Coroners Office, Coroner Adam Downs, we have evidence to believe that the deceased subject is the missing person from October of this year, Vendula Wendy Rose.

Well, the missing case of Wendy Rose was filed after she didn’t arrive at her home on the scheduled date of October 2, 2024, and neither showed up at her job on October 4.
She left her home on September 20 for a trip to Alabama but became completely disconnected from her family after four days.
Wendy Rose was a Czech Republic native who immigrated to the United States in 2001
According to the Fox8 reports, missing Wendy Rose was originally from a small town in the Czech Republic, Kolin.
At age 18, she flew to the United States to marry David Rose, whom she fell in love with after meeting him in Prague, her home country’s capital.
The couple eventually walked down the aisle and settled in Ohio, where they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Dana Rose.
According to Dana, her mother, Wendy was an ambitious woman who didn’t like to stick to one profession. Over the years, Wendy worked as a mechanic, dog trainer, horse rider, and writer and also served as a security guard at Walmart.
She even got her pilot’s license in 2016 to motivate her daughter Dana, but whatever she did, her ultimate purpose was always to explore nature.
In this regard, Dana Said, “She always talked about living in a cabin, waking up with the sun behind the hills in the morning.”
Due to her passion for nature, she decided to go on a trip to Alabama in September 2024, but that turned out to be an unfortunate decision.
