The absolute horror that unfolded in New Orleans on New Year’s Day was caused by the prime suspect, Shamsud-Din Jabbar. He was born in 1982 in Beaumont, Texas.
Jabbar was born to father, Adb Alrahim Jabbar, and mother, Herma Regina Everett, although the source is not public yet.
From what we have collected, his parents were Democrats and worked in public schools.
A US citizen by birth, Shamsud-Din Jabbar’s parents were US citizens and have active voting registration in Texas.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar and his ex-wife Nakedra Charrlle have two children together, 15 and 20, who are reportedly a mess right now.

Reports from CNN say that there is a video saying that he was planning to kill his family at one point but decided to convert to Islam instead.

Jabbar completed his degree in computer information systems from Georgia State University from 2015 to 2017.
He was also a U.S. Army veteran who was deployed to Afghanistan from February 2009 to January 2010.
Jabbar also worked in different sectors ranging from Human resources to IT.
According to some posts on Twitter, he was married to ex-wife Nakedra Charrlle and had two kids, 10 and 15, together. Also, some documents claim that Shaneen Chantil was his wife.
He was married twice, once in 2012 and second from 2017 to 2022.
It is believed that his ethnicity roots back to South Asia, from his father’s side, and Europe-America from his mother’s side.

During the celebration, at around 3:15 local time, a Ford truck came ramming at the crowd gathered at Bourbon Street in New Orleans French Quarter.
The truck, a white Ford F-150 Lightning with an ISIS flag, climbed the pavement and ran over many people before stopping in front of Police cars.

According to the initial report by the Police, the suspect was hellbent on creating carnage and had no remorse on his face.
New Orleans Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick says,
This man was trying to run over as many people as he possibly could.
On top of the carnage he created, the man was also fully armed and managed to injure two Police officers before being kil*ed in the Police resistance gunfire.
The aftermath of the above incident was horrifying, as the Police added that when they left, they were “were walking past dead and injured bodies all over the street.”
While the intent behind the crime is not known, people theorize that it was because of his failed marriages and businesses.
Also, the officials refuse to believe he was acting alone and are focused on uncovering the helper’s identity.
