SaySoTheMac created waves in the LA music scene before taking his last breath. His team members and fans grieve for the loss of young talent and the unpredictability of things.
The artist is one of the most established rappers to come out of the underground community. SaySoTheMac and 11 other members made up the Stinc Team, who created contemporary music.
SaySoTheMac grew up in Memphis and often described his childhood as challenged by poverty and limited exposure to wealth. He had casually started creating music before entering the mainstream.
RIP SaysoTheMac, an essential part of the Stinc Team wave that revolutionized LA. A master of slick-talking, cold-blooded but nervous pimp rap – somewhere between Suga Free & Dru Down. An undeniably talented original who would've been a bigger star had those same stars aligned. pic.twitter.com/xyKRtFdEVT

Moreover, Drakeo The Ruler led the way and was a close friend of SaySoTheMac. However, Drakeo’s recent demise had put the team on the edge due to pressure from gang members and the police.
Despite the band’s popularity, SaySoTheMac maintained its distance from the media and faced several criminal charges behind the scenes. The rapper was punished with a seven-figure bail of over $1.2 million and aggressive gang involvement.
Hours before his passing, the rapper had engaged with fans, accompanied by his team members, at a live show. Additionally, he posted an Instagram story claiming he had been freed from an ankle monitor.
Sadly, the news of his demise came 24 hours after the show, and fans were in disbelief. Later, they revealed that SaySoTheMac looked under the influence while performing.
Further assumptions enraged that the rapper had passed away after overdosing on the substance. SaySoTheMac left behind his team on the 3rd demise anniversary of their leader, Drakeo.
Fans and fellow rapers have written heartfelt messages for the late rapper, including Otto Von Boz Markie. Markie added, “An undeniably talented original who would’ve been a bigger star had those same stars aligned.“

Additionally, the rapper started as an alternative rock and nu-metal artist but gradually transitioned to hip-hop. SaySoTheMac mentioned that Stinc Team members like Ketchy inspired him to make a new genre of music.
