Samay Raina, an Indian comedian, cannot seem to avoid controversies because of his unhinged comedy. Recently, in his show India’s Got Latent, he shrouded himself in yet another controversy, which fans are labeling an accident.
A contestant named Mohammad Adil showed talent (or, can we say, latent) in cutting cloth for his performance partner, Priyanka.
However, when Samay and the team discovered Priyanka was married, they were shocked.
Samay went on to say,
“Are you married? I wish I could be this trusting (towards the spouse). Is your husband cool? I’m telling it from a man’s perspective. The male ego is very fragile.”
To which, the contestant replies, “My husband does not know we are here, but I will tell him afterwards.“
Whatever Samay said in the show met with a backlash from the fans on social media, with most of them bashing him for trying to raise doubts between the couple.
However, other fans supported Samay Raina for genuinely raising concerns about the nature of the performance from a married woman.

On top of that, the current trend, which highlights the Samay Raina accident, does not have any truth to it.
However, Samay’s cousin brother had met with an accident a few years back, and it really shook him.
His unnamed cousin met with a heart attack while in the gym, and due to the incident, Samay became very health conscious.
