Shantel Jackson, an entrepreneur, influencer, and former American TV personality, recently discussed her breakup with American rapper Nelly.
In a recent Instagram Live, Shantel Jackson, aka Miss Jackson, briefly shared the reasons behind their breakup after being in a relationship for seven years.
Though the couple split up in 2021, the assumptions and theories people had after the rapper married singer Ashanti made Shantel break her silence.
Shantel stated that she left Nelly because she initially wanted the space and needed to rip off the band-aid.
She continued, “Sometimes people don’t work out, they grow apart, like sometimes one person might want to still be in the situation, and the other person is like, this isn’t working.”
Shantel also clarified that despite the breakup, everything is good between her and Nelly.
Furthermore, Shantel’s work as an influencer and her romantic involvement with celebrities like professional boxers Floyd Mayweather and Nelly have made people curious about her parental background and ethnicity.
Shantel Jackson was born in a family with mixed ethnicity
Shantel Jackson was born as Shantel Christine Jackson in Miami, Florida, United States, to a family of mixed ethnicities.
In a live video, Shantel Jackson stated that she is an American Indian, black and white.
