The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported that the incident claimed two lives and left six people critically wounded. Further, police placed one of the victims under custody in connection to the rapper’s demise.
Since then, Von’s departure has ignited other incidents involving Lil Durk, Quando Rondo, FBG Duck, and the Only The Family Gang. The police charged one of Rondo’s friends for the attack, but they continued investigating, with medical reports yet to be revealed.
Recently, the mortician responsible for his autopsy released unofficial pictures of King Von during his autopsy. The report mentioned that the rapper suffered at least four firearm wounds and was classified as an intentional homicide.
Further, the autopsy confirmed that there was no substance or alcohol in his system at the time of his unfortunate departure. However, his family immediately responded to the release and removed the original account’s images.
King Von had a history of legal issues, which remain unsolved following his departure!
Soon after the autopsy images circulated online, his sister called out the alleged leaker and wanted to take action against them. Leaked images of Von included graphic content showing his body marked for medical purposes.
Moreover, his sister remarked, “THIS THE SICK MFER THAT POSTED MY BROTHER PICTURES! HE WORKS AT THE AIPORT MORTUARY. HIS WHOLE JOB KNOWS HE DID THE SHIT, BUT THEY TRYNA PROTECT HIM! WE NEED HIM FIRED NOW!!“
Meanwhile, users added that the pictures caused them significant discomfort, and Lil Durk included the news in one of his lyrics, implying that the autopsy reports made them cough up vomit.
However, many blamed Durk for Von’s condition as the rapper lost his life in an altercation with his gang. Previously, authorities detained Von as a person of interest in the fatal attack against a 17-year-old Gangster Disciples member, Gakirah K.I. Barnes.
The rapper was later released due to inconsistency in witness statements. In the following months, Von faced the authorities in connection to a physical attack, resulting in the demise of Malcom Stuckey and the injury of two other men.
Additionally, the court apprehended Von and Lil Durk for the incident in Atlanta, where they appeared before a judge in a Fulton County courtroom for a cause hearing. The court released the rapper on a $300,000 bond, and a year later, he met his sudden end.
Despite his criminal background, fans remembered Von as a prominent name in hip-hop and included him in the In Memoriam montage during the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
