Unbelievably talented playstyle of Jon Batiste sparks blind rumors online!

Jon Batiste founded the band Stay Human which later became house band for Stephen Colbert's late-night talk show.

For the record, American singer-songwriter and TV personality Jon Batiste is not blind or autistic.

While there are no credible sources telling otherwise, the former bandleader of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert himself also has never talked about having any visual impairments or neurodivergent conditions.

But it seems Jon Batiste blind rumors arose from his latest Instagram post featuring a clip where he plays Green Day’s Holiday after hearing it for the first time.

In the video, despite hearing it just then, he plays the piano version of the song without even looking at the keys, which sort of looks like how a person with visual impairment might play.

Moreover, while he listens intently to the musical notes to replicate them, he occasionally looks off into the space behind his keyboard.

Noticing that, one fan commented, He’s the man, but why he playing like he blind 😂😂😂😂” and another replied, “Looks like he sees the sound. He sees what’s not visible to our eyes.” Meanwhile, another commented, “Hahaha wondering the same thing.

Furthermore, those who are first-time listeners might mistake him for blind or autistic because of his impressive playstyle.
