A series of new photos of the hotel room where the late singer Liam Payne reportedly stayed before his demise have surfaced online after being released by Argentinian local media.
Unlike TMZ, the local media did not feature images of the lifeless body photo of Liam Payne at the scene.

Instead, they ran the story with images of the hotel room that hinted at what he might have been doing in his final hours.
The images have now gone viral on social media, garnering several speculative narratives from substance overdose to mental health struggles.

On October 16, 2026, Liam Payne, the former member of the boy band One Direction, lost his life after falling from the balcony of his room on the third floor at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
With ongoing investigations, new developments and revelations about the tragedy are coming out, including his hotel room photos.
According to the New York Post, the singer was reportedly “acting erratic” in the hotel lobby, and someone at the hotel called 911 to report an “aggressive male” at the hotel. Liam Payne even reportedly smashed his laptop in the lobby.
Responding to the 911 call, the police in Buenos Aires arrived at the hotel and discovered the body there.

Now, the aggressive reports of Liam Payne do align with the viral hotel room photos, which reveal a broken TV screen and various items scattered across the suite.
Some of the identifiable items were Dove soap containers, matches, candle remnants, aluminum foil, and a powdery white substance.
Besides that, officials also found a burned soda can’s top and a lighter at the scene. In one of the photos, we can see a bathtub with burn marks and remnants of candles.
Taking his behavior prior to the fatal fall and the chaotic scenario of the room into consideration, many are speculating about substance overdose and intoxication.
Meanwhile, Liam Payne was reportedly in great distress, and People magazine reported that he was “extremely overwhelmed by all of the legal issues” involving his ex.
