Samson Kelley is a 16-year-old from St. Louis County, Missouri, who has been missing since October 5, 2024. The teen was last spotted in the neighborhood before his mother posted a help post on Facebook.
Two days after his disappearance, Samson Kelley’s mother, Anna Weiss, posted three photos of the teenager and detailed that he had been missing from the Crestwood/Kirkwood area. She mentioned that he goes to Lindbergh High School.
Days before his disappearance, Weiss posted a picture of Samson and his sister for a first-day-of-school picture as he was starting 11th grade, whereas his sister was in 8th grade.

Moreover, his mother urged the users for information to help locate her son, and the post received over 3.1k shares and 138 comments within seven hours.
Many initially believed that Samson’s case was a scam, as the post came from a home decor page, MoModerne. However, the page belonged to Weiss, and her business focused on women-owned shops, home shifting, and design in America.
Additionally, the pictures circulated on several platforms besides Facebook, including Threads, TikTok, and Twitter, where users tried hard to locate the 16-year-old.
On October 8, 2024, Weiss confirmed that she had safely found her son and thanked all the users for their love and support during the difficult time.
Samson Kelley’s school confirmed he has been reunited with his family after disappearing for days!
Along with Weiss, Lindbergh School’s Information Group reported that the authorities had found their missing student. However, Weiss hasn’t deleted her original post, causing confusion among the Facebook community.
Since the posting, many have been demanding updates from Weiss, but she has refrained from providing any statement apart from the comment posted four hours ago.
As the confusion grew, one of the users remarked, “Please update this Anna Weiss when he is found as people will continue to share. I hope to God he is okay.“
Before Weiss’s statement, Samson came under the long list of children who had recently gone missing in Missouri. In the past month, more than 10 children, including Samson Kelley, have disappeared in the area, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Similarly, the database has listed information about the children to obtain more information from the public in hopes of reuniting the victims with their grieving family members. The official website includes physical attributes, names, and pictures of the children for ease.
Fortunately, Samson’s case didn’t require much police involvement, as the community and his family members worked together to locate him. Now, the teen hasn’t appeared publicly, as he has been struggling with his recent incident.
Meanwhile, many pointed out that despite Samson’s disappearance for days, his father, Luby Kelley, didn’t post anything on the matter, creating speculations about their family life.
