26-year-old Luigi Mangione, who was arrested from Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Monday, December 10, as a suspect in the homicide of the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has now been charged by the New York Prosecutors.

During his arrest, he was just a suspect, and now, he is facing three gun charges and forgery alongside a homicide charge, The New York Times reports.

Popping up his name in the media as a convict in Health Care CEO’s homicide has now made netizens curious about his background, especially, his love life, with many people asking if Luigi Mangione has a girlfriend.

Well, it appears that Luigi Mangione, whom people think might be bisexual, was once in a relationship, but his dating life was greatly affected by chronic pain.

As reported by the New York Times reporter Shawn Hubler, the spokesman for R.J. Martin, Luigi’s former roommate in Honolulu, told her, “The injury stopped Mangione from surfing and even hampered his romantic life.”

Further, Martin also commented on Luigi’s vulnerability as a boyfriend who couldn’t take his relationship further because of his back pain. In this regard, R.J. Martin said,

Well, Luigi Mangione was suffering from a misaligned spine. As said by Martin, ‘his lower vertebrae were almost a half-inch off.’

He even underwent surgery to fix his back injury, and following the surgery, he stayed out of contact with his family members for several months.

Later, he again maintained regular contact with his family, but they were still unaware of what Luigi was into. They suddenly came to know about Luigi’s involvement in a Health Care CEO homicide after police detained him recently.

Lately, netizens have been in awe of the discovery that Luigi Mangione, who graduated valedictorian from Gilman School in 2016, has a major involvement in United Health Care CEO Brian Thompson’s k*lling.

Well, the now–convict’s educational accomplishments aren’t limited to being a valedictorian. He further studied software engineering at the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania and successfully earned an engineering degree.

According to his high-school friend, Luigi was a brilliant person. Talking to the News Nation, of his anonymous friend said,

He was the valedictorian of our high school, but he didn’t put in much effort at all. He would sit there in class, not study after school, and aced the tests. [Mangione] was an extraordinary mind. He was a very popular person in the class,”

Since he was such a talented guy, many of his friends are now in disbelief that he could perform such a heinous crime.

Likewise, his former roommate, R.J. Martin, is also in shock to know Luigi, whom he always found to be a person to have an intellectual conversation with, assassinated Thompson. He said, “I just can’t imagine that this is the same person. It’s unimaginable.”
