However, the court has yet to decide on a bond amount for the rapper, preventing family members from bailing him out. As his picture garnered thousands of reports and likes on Twitter, Durk has been the subject of internet jokes.
Many have edited Durk’s mugshot to give him a wide smile instead of a droopy face. Additionally, fans have edited the rapper to wear a McDonald’s uniform, making it a fan favorite.
On the other hand, fans have shown concern for Durk as one wrote, “Feds took lil Durk some hours ago. Man just gonna spend the rest of his life in prison with all that money in his bank account, damn.“
Durk’s detention came months after the violent attack in Los Angeles that claimed the life of Quando Rondo’s cousin, and many conspired that Durk, along with other convicts, acted in response to King Von’s demise.
Lil Durk allegedly helped the OTF gang who flew from Chicago to California to track down Quando!
Previously, rapper King Von was fatally shot during an altercation involving Quando’s associate, Lul Timm, in Atlanta. The violent incident escalated to the point of firearm use, and the convicts shot at Von multiple times.
Moreover, an emergency medic transported Von to the hospital in critical condition, but doctors later pronounced him deceased. However, police reports revealed that the involved parties belonged to the Only The Family (OTF) gang.
The members included Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsay, and Asa Houston. The group also involved top names in the hip-hop industry, making police investigations difficult to a certain extent.

Similarly, the authorities have detained all five men associated with the gang, and Durk’s music label paid for the flights and rental cars used in the violent act with a company credit card.
Additionally, Grant from OTF flew himself on a private jet from Miami to California to oversee the operation against Rondo and secured hotel rooms and other necessary tools to carry out the violent attack.
Prosecutors reportedly claim that an unnamed member of the OTF offered a music opportunity to anyone willing to exterminate Quando Rondo. Soon, Rondo and his team were in Los Angeles on August 19, 2022.
However, Rondo had an unpleasant trip when someone attacked their vehicle at a gas station in the Beverly Grove neighborhood. Men wearing ski masks appeared suddenly riding BMW and Infiniti Sedans fitted with fake license plates.
Rondo barely escaped with minor injuries, but the attack took away his cousin Saviay’a Robinson. When investigators reached the scene, Rondo couldn’t communicate properly due to the trauma while the OTF gang flew out to Chicago the next day.
