Feud has begun between Lana Del Rey and Lizzo fans as videos surfaced online as the About Damn Time singer criticized the fellow artist on TikTok. However, others pointed out the image had been altered to spread false information.
Lizzo recently commented on one of Lana Del Ray’s TikTok videos, promoting her new release Tough in collaboration with Quavo Huncho. The clip included snippets of the music video as the singer drove a car.
Soon, the video, which had over 761.2k likes and over a million views, received a comment from Lizzo challenging the singer to top the charts with the release. The comment was disrespectful to the artist, who has a huge fanbase.
However, in its response, Lana wrote, “I would love to see you run a treadmill.” The comment surprised many as Lana didn’t involve herself in controversies and didn’t respond to unnecessary comments.

Meanwhile, others speculated that Lizzo was envious of Lana’s career as the singer debuted her album in 2005. Lana has established her image in the industry as an artist exploring tragic romance, glamor, and pop culture.
Still, Lizzo’s fans argue that the singer made a remarkable contribution to the industry. Her releases, such as Truth Hurts, Batches & Cookies, Good as Hell, and Better in Color, have topped global music charts.
Previously, a similar incident took place between the singers when Lizzo posted a video wearing a Harris Walz cap. Lana commented on the video, claiming she was supporting Trump, but Lizzo quickly responded, “You married a grandpa with rabies and zero teeth.“
However, users pointed out that the comments weren’t in the original videos and had been altered by fans to fuel unnecessary drama on the platform. Fans claimed that the account that posted them was a satire.
The drama between Lizzo and Lana Del Rey has existed for over a year!
In June, Lizzo shared a video on TikTok wearing a beige bodysuit. In the video, she talked about her experience in the music industry as a plus-sized artist. She titled the video “Nearly Naked Talk with Me.”
Moreover, Lizzo claimed she wasn’t doing everything right with her music and career. The singer detailed that she would overthink her situation every day, which hampered her mental health.
However, people were more concerned about Lizzo’s looks than her personal message. Many commented that the singer had gained weight since her last public appearance.

At the same time, comments surfaced that Lana had criticized Lizzo for her appearance, asking, “What planet are you?” The response had over 2.3k likes but couldn’t be found under Lizzo’s original video.
Additionally, another screenshot included Lizzo looking disappointed at Lana’s comments and preparing for a response. The singer clapped back at Lana and allegedly wrote, “You know about planets don’t you, Hulk?“
As the video screenshot traveled to Twitter, the community notes came to the rescue and assured fans that the picture was fake. A site post had been misinterpreted as a fact among the singers’ fans.
Many have requested that people refrain from spreading such misinformation without confirmation from the official accounts. The artists share a mutual respect for one another and plan future collaborations.
