After completing his service, he established the Advance Product Group, which merged with Access Graphics and was one of the leading tech companies in the 1990s.
According to the official reports, the organization profited over $1 billion, earning John the title ‘Entrepreneur of the Year.’ The businessman hosted a lavish party for his 300 employees at Hotel Boulderado.
Further, the company had started with assets of $59 million and raised its sales within a few years to reach a billion. Access Graphics became an expanding business with John’s leadership and guidance.
Similarly, his investment in real estate and successful businesses helped John Ramsey earn a high net worth before he took a leave from work due to his daughter’s unfortunate passing.
John Ramsey claimed that his workaholic nature caused the family tragedy!
On his company’s celebration day, John went home and received unfortunate news about his daughter.
Following the case, the members temporarily replaced him in his position to avoid burdening him with business matters. John’s wife, Patsy, received a ransom note a day after Christmas.
Moreover, the note demanded $118,000 for their youngest child, and she immediately called the police for an investigation. As the search continued in their home, John followed the police into their basement.
Soon after climbing down the stairs, John realized that his daughter had passed away. He located her body, covered with a white sheet, near a broken window.

Additionally, JonBenet had been tied with a white cord around her right wrist and her neck. The 6-year-old had been duct taped on her mouth and was physically violated in her home.
Later, autopsy reports revealed that the criminal wiped her private area with a cloth before her death. Despite the evidence, police couldn’t locate the one responsible for such a heinous crime.
The case has been ongoing for over 28 years, and John claimed that the authorities had failed to provide justice to the family. However, John and his wife were among the prime suspects in the case.
As JonBenet was a child beauty pageant winner, many recognized her, and parents suspected that the killer had entered the house while they were having dinner and waited until they fell asleep.
After extensive investigation and their failures, John Ramsey lost a significant amount of his net worth and his company value. The family moved to Atlanta, where John currently runs a retail store with his third wife.
