Ryan Kobayashi, the father of missing girl Hannah Kobayashi, reportedly took his own life on November 24, 2024.
A Facebook post of Monday, November 25, 2024, stated that Ryan Kobayashi took his own life after tirelessly searching for his missing daughter, Hannah, for nearly two weeks.
Furthermore, the post stated that the family of Hannah Kobayashi is urgently pleading with the public to maintain focus on the search for her as she might be in imminent danger.
However, many believe it to be a rumor as his family hasn’t shared any information about the tragic demise of Ryan Kobayashi.
Likewise, a subreddit post stated that Hannah’s family had confirmed the news of Ryan’s demise and had asked everyone to stop contacting them even if they had had prior contact.
Some believe the news to be fake as they can’t find any official information about Ryan’s demise, while many are expressing their sadness and sending their prayers to his family.
One wrote,”Not trying to be a bad person here by speculation about the demise, but do we have e confirmation of his alibi at the time of Hannah’s disappearance.“
Some also believe that Hannah and Ryan had an estranged relationship before her disappearance. However, it is still unsure if he took his own life.

Ryan Kobayashi and his family organized a rally near Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, close to where they last saw Hannah Kobayashi.
Hannah went missing after landing at Los Angeles International Airport from Maui on Friday, November 8. She missed her connecting flight to New York and was trying to rebook.
According to Kobayashi’s family, she went to a bookstore around noon on Saturday, November 9, and that evening, she returned to LAX. She told her aunt that trying to get another flight was a nightmare, but she was still trying to get there.
Moreover, Her last message to her aunt, Geordan Montalvo, on November 11 was alarming as she mentioned feeling scared and that someone might be trying to steal her money and identity.
Other text messages said, “I got tricked pretty much into giving away all my funds for someone I thought I loved.” Unfortunately, after that, her phone went off.
Similarly, in the rally outside Crypto.com Arena, Hannah’s aunt Larie Pidgeon stated, “Please, please do not stop saying her name. Your entire family is here, and the entire world is looking for you. If you can and you have access, please reach out to us. We’re not mad.“
Her father, Ryan Kobayashi, added, “She’s a beautiful girl inside and out. Just reach out if you can.“
