Elizabeth Warren has been making headlines because of her public feud with Elon Musk. Additionally, Elon was appointed to co-lead DOGE, which caused her to involve Donald Trump due to concerns over potential conflicts of interest.
Recently, Elizabeth Warren wrote a letter to President-to-be Donald Trump, asking him to establish proper guidelines around Elon Musk, as the billionaire has been added to Trump’s transition team.
Similarly, she showed concern about Elon’s growing influence and his newfound role in the Department of Government Efficiency. She explained that Elon owns several businesses, such as Neuralink and The Boring Company, which could create conflicts of interest.

Thanks to his political connections, Elon’s companies have received billions in public sector contracts. Moreover, the senator has asked the newly elected president to answer whether Elon would use the position to profit himself.
Speaking more on the matter, Elizabeth shared, “Mr. Musk is no ordinary citizen, Musk’s substantial private interests present a massive conflict of interest with the role he has taken on as your ‘unofficial co-president.”
In addition, the senator pointed out that there is a law that prevents government workers from working on things that could benefit them personally.
When Elon Musk found out about the allegations, he was not happy, so he quickly responded to Elizabeth. Elon claimed that Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents encouraged the senator to come after the billionaire.
Moreover, the 75-year-old was also accused of her statements about Elon being ideologically driven and an element of a larger scheme.
Elizabeth Warren and Elon Musk fight over taxes, big tech, and political bias!
Additionally, this is not the first time Elizabeth and Elon have had a public conflict. Back in December 2021, she slammed him for not paying enough taxes.
She revealed a report that showed that the billionaire had only paid minimal income taxes in certain years.
Afterward, she showed her support for a wealth tax that forces billionaires to pay proper income taxes. Subsequently, Elon mocked her on X, formerly known as Twitter, by calling her a Karen.
My mother was born on Valentine’s Day. We both loved her special connection to the holiday. When I was a girl, I got some heart-shaped pans from the dime store and started baking her a heart-shaped cake every year. I’ve kept up the tradition. pic.twitter.com/mlP7z8EYat

Furthermore, a few weeks later, Elon stated that he had paid the highest amount of taxes ever contributed by an individual in history. Reportedly, in 2021 alone, he claimed to have paid more than $11 billion in taxes.
Additionally, the feud between Elizabeth Warren and Elon Musk escalated in 2022 when the CEO of The Boring Company acquired X. Afterwards, she explained that Elon buying X was a threat to US democracy as the platform could undermine democratic processes.
To prevent this from happening, she called for increased regulation of Big Tech, which many people supported.
