The activist, lawyer, singer, and songwriter Elica Le Bon, who has her ancestry in Iran, is famous for her work as a public speaker who primarily focuses on Iranian issues and human rights.
The young attorney and singer who claims to be a daughter of Iran was born and raised in London by her Iranian parents. Although she was born in London, her love for her parent’s birthplace, Iran, is immense, as she often talks about Iran and how we should support them.
In a May 6, 2024 podcast, Elica Le Bon discussed her mother’s side of the family, her ancestry in Iran, and how they moved to London permanently. She said that her mom’s side of the family left after the 1979 revolution in Iran, and her dad was already in London.
Furthermore, during the revolution, Elica’s father was doing his PhD at Oxford on a scholarship, but the regime cut off his scholarship, and he unfortunately had to drop out.
After the revolution, Elica Le Bon’s Parents struggled a lot to survive.
After dropping out of Oxford, Elica’s father had to work at a bar because he had no qualifications and couldn’t return to Iran. In contrast, her mother and her family struggled to survive in Iran before moving to London.
Likewise, the situation was getting worse in Iran, including the mass execution of her family members and abduction, and her mother, along with Elica’s pregnant aunt, had to go to Evan prison.
In the Podcast, Elica talks about how her mother and her family were suffering because of the Iranian regime. Moreover, Elica’s parents married after her mother came to London, and Elica and her aunt’s children grew up together in London.
Elica Le Bon, in a December 1, 2023, Instagram post, said, “My dad, who is diagnosed with cancer, has been as fearless, passionate, as his daughter.” revealing her father’s cancer and how resilience runs in their DNA.

Moreover, on May 10, 2024, Elica Le Bon on Twitter talked about her father, stating that her father has no ties to the Iranian regime in response to a statement by PVT that said, “Is Elica Le Bon seeking fame or is she a spy sent to mingle Zionists ( like her father’s best friend)?
Despite receiving several negative comments, Elica Le Bon’s parents have been her constant source of support. They are proud of their daughter’s achievements and work.
