Clarence Williams Jr. was reported missing from his home by his wife, but the constant community and official search reports have helped him reunite with his concerned family members.
On December 10, 2024, Clarence Williams Jr.’s wife, Faye Hargrove, posted on Facebook with an emergency caption. She explained that her husband had been missing since early morning.
Williams had left for work at 5:30 in the morning but never showed up. Hargrove tried to communicate with him several times, but he had switched off his phone.
Further, Willimas was supposed to check in at 205 Main Street in Wagner, South Carolina, where his dental office was. His colleagues had reported his absence to Hargrove.
After filing an official report, his wife continued to provide updates through her Facebook account. She detailed that Williams had left in his 2017 white Ford Explorer sport.
The vehicle had a purple wildflower license plate with the number DVV366. A few hours after his disappearance, officials had spotted his car on the highway but had yet to reach William’s final destination.
Similarly, the 69-year-old hasn’t mentioned his plans for a detour on his way to work. His wife mentioned that such an unusual behavior concerned them the most.
Meanwhile, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office continued to deploy a search team in the area. They conducted a brief search of Williams’ work route and contacted neighboring cities.

Hours into the investigation, authorities couldn’t find substantial evidence in the case and relied on the family for updates. His wife continued to thank her followers for their unwavering support.
In one of her latest posts, she wrote, “So much love and concern! Keep praying. We haven’t found him yet but local police are working hard on out behalf.“
Further, one of his colleagues put details about Williams in a pamphlet and circulated it in a local dentist group, which included professionals from South Carolina and its surrounding cities.
Hargrove posted a positive update that included a picture of her missing husband and the County officer as the case received over a thousand likes and shares.
Additionally, she thanked the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department for locating her husband and safely getting him home. The picture revealed that Williams was in his scrubs while disappearing.
Besides the picture, Hargrove doesn’t mention where the officials located her husband or the reason for his hours-long disappearance.
For now, they are thankful that Williams returned home without sustaining significant injuries or losing his belongings.
