Horrific case of missing Warren Brown found, but not in the way you would imagine!

The guy who went missing was actually Warren Barnes and not Brown as Brian Cohee mentions.

In a YouTube video recently uploaded by Law&Crime Network, we can find the story of 69-year-old Warren Brown (Barnes), who went missing, but the state he was in is something we cannot imagine.

The old video, of sometime around February 2021, covers the bizarre case of Colorado.

Reports indicate that Brian Cohee took the life of a 69-year-old homeless missing man named Warren Brown (Barnes). Barnes was catching some rest near Crosby Avenue when this happened.

Cohee, only 21 at the time, went on to dismember and mishandle Warren’s body. He took parts of Warren home, a thought that chills anyone to the bone.

It was Cohee’s own mother, Terri Cohee, who stumbled upon the horrific scene in his closet. She discovered Warren’s rotting head and hands and immediately called the authorities.

In the video, we can see the moment the Police reached Cohee’s residence and how the local business owners reported Warren’s missing.

The Police then arrested Brian and, while presenting to the court, was handed a life imprisonment sentence without the possibility of parole.

In an article by Western Slope Now, they mention that Brian’s mother recalled the moment when she made that horrific discovery.

The trial was so intense that even the jurors were in tears!

While entering the court, the mother, Terri Cohee, apologized to the family of Warren Brown (Barnes),

“I would just like to express our family’s deep and sincere sympathies to the community and family of Mr. Barnes.”

The Judge of this case, Judge Richard Gurley, called this case the most horrific case he had seen in 37 years.

Judge Gurley further mentions that Brian Cohee must have had some mental problems and had a different perspective of the world.

However, he was quite content that Brian had this mu*der in his mind for a long time. Cohee confessed to targeting Warren because he thought nobody would miss homeless people.

Irrespective of their mental condition, the judge did not go easy on Cohee and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

According to Mesa County, Assistant District Attorney Trish Mahre expressed sadness over how Warren was mu*dered.

She stated,

“Warren Barnes lost his life in the most violent of ways. His friends, family, and community suffer his loss. This outcome demonstrates the checks and balances that exist within the criminal justice system. Justice prevailed when the jury rendered guilty verdicts holding the defendant legally accountable for his horrendous crimes.”

Brian Cohee thought Warren Brown (Barnes) would not have any friends, but he was wrong. Barnes was so popular in the community that they installed a memorial sculpture in his memory.

Barnes’ sister Geraldine Shipp states, “He was a man who was loved by the community and family. Nothing can replace Warren, but hopefully, Brian Cohee can never, ever have a chance to hurt someone else.

Niece of the deceased Barnes, Michelle Munfrada, hopes no one else gets to suffer what her uncle went through. She adds, “We hope that this, today, can bring some closure for all the family and friends.

Warren Brown (Barnes) was nicknamed “The Reading Man” because he was an avid reader. He had a kind heart and was loved by many.
