Real estate agent Tyree Winslow took his last breath in Howard County, Maryland, as a result of a violent altercation with the police. Reports suggest that he was involved in a physical incident with an unnamed woman.
The Howard County Police responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 100th block of American Pharoah Lane at approximately 3:10 p.m. on November 30, 2024. Authorities found a female victim outside the property.
Moreover, a male suspect, who has yet to be confirmed to be Tyree Winslow, was in the property holding a large firearm. Despite pleas, Winslow allegedly refused to drop his arms and attacked two officers.
A report from the scene mentioned that investigators found multiple shell casings from an unknown weapon and several firearms on the scene. The officers hid behind a red truck, which supposedly belonged to Winslow.
Further, three other occupants of the residence were evacuated unharmed as investigations were underway to determine if Winslow passed away from a self-inflicted wound or attacks from the officers.
CBS News Baltimore reported that the residents called the police after the suspect banged on the victim’s door for several minutes. Later, he entered through the window to harm the woman.
Authorities found the woman on the window’s ledge and used a drone to locate the suspect. Unofficial videos showcased officials entering the building by breaking the front door.
However, Howard County added that they would release further body camera footage and the motives of Tyree Winslow within this week as his previous actions are being traced.
