Grayson Costain and his mother were recovered safely, despite recent false missing reports!

The three years old Grayson Costain went missing back in September but the officials reportedly found him a day later.

Grayson Costain, the toddler, disappeared with his mother, Star Cunningham, in September but was later located by the authorities. However, posts about the missing Grayson Costain have resurfaced online, which could be a potential scam.

On November 2, 2024, Facebook posts arose stating that Grayson Costain had been reported missing by the El Paso Police Department. The post included Costain’s picture playing with rocks.

The user claimed that doctors diagnosed Costain with autism and prescribed daily medications. They considered the child to be in extreme danger and urgent need of emergency medical assistance.

Moreover, they urged the community to help locate the child and mentioned that sharing the post only takes 2 seconds. The posts received thousands of likes before others noticed unusual things in the statement.

Others began uploading the same picture, but each mentioned a different location for the child. Further, they contained no contact details or information about Costain’s parents.

Additionally, yard sale and car rental company pages often made the claims, using missing person cases to gain engagement. So, it appears Grayson Costain had been their recent victim.

The posts were a scam. Grayson Costain went missing on September 24, 2024, but was later located by the Fairfield Profile Department. Officers tracked the child alongside his mother and reunited them with their family.

Grayson Costain disappeared while taking a walk in the neighborhood park!

According to reports, Costain was on his regular walk with his mother, Star Cunningham, before cutting communication with their family. They were last seen in Fairfield Center around 10 a.m.

The official described Cunningham as 5’11” tall, 100 pounds, with reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. When she went missing in the park, she was wearing black leggings and a hoodie.

Meanwhile, Costain was described as 3’6” tall, weighing about 35 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. The Fairfield officials had initiated an emergency search for the duo as the child was on the danger list.

After an extensive search in the area and nearby neighborhood, Costain was located with his mother a day later. However, authorities didn’t release other information about the case.

Soon after the discovery, officials removed their pictures from the missing person database and thanked the community for its support throughout the investigation.

However, after the recent reporting, users were concerned and looked for information to ensure Costain and his mother’s safety. As the posts were fake, users have requested others to report the posts.

Authorities have requested the public to trust authentic sources and official reports in case of missing persons. The case involves a child, so they have prevented people from sharing his pictures.
