One of India’s most feared gangsters and politicians, Atiq Ahmed, operated alongside his wife, Shaista Parveen, for several years. However, speculations arose that his wife was pregnant after Atiq Ahmed met his unfortunate end at the hands of three men in Prayagraj.
Atiq Ahmed was born in a Muslim-dominated neighborhood in 1962 and dropped out of high school to get involved in petty crimes. Ahmed built a regime of illegal trades, organized crime, and politics in Prayagraj for over a decade.
Moreover, he married his wife, Shaista Parveen, in 1996 and used her background to his advantage. Parveen came from a family of police officers; her father was a retired police constable, and one of her brothers was Madrasa’s principal.

The couple had five children, and Ahmed lured his wife into politics. She became a member of the BSP, hoping to secure a position in the Prayagraj mayoral polls.
However, her connection with Ahmed didn’t come with an easy price, as she was mentioned in the FIR lodged for the attack on Umesh Pal.
Additionally, the reports speculate that Parveen had planned for the attack, causing her to live under the shadows after her husband’s demise. However, such a move caused more speculation, and many claimed she was pregnant with another man.
The widespread rumors mentioned that the wife of Atiq Ahmed had been pregnant with the Guddu Muslim’s child. Guddu was a close acquaintance of Ahmed, and false claims about their affair became prominent.
However, there has been no official news that Ahmed’s wife is expecting a child as she has been running away from legal troubles. Authorities have declared her as a mafioso and a criminal for her history with Ahmed.

Throughout the years, Ahmed captured lands across Lucknow, traded illegal firearms, and infiltrated Mayawati, where the Dalit leader of the regional Bahujan Samaj Party was holding their routine meeting.

Initially, Ahmed started as an independent candidate and later became a leader of the regional Samajwadi Party. After working in the position for years, the politician joined Apna Dal, a party formed by a lower-caste leader.
Later, in 2017, authorities put the politician behind bars after the BJP government came into power. However, the obstacle didn’t stop him from causing havoc for his enemies, as Ahmed became linked to a high-profile extermination that shocked the nation.
According to police reports, members of Ahmed’s gang and his sons were responsible for causing a deadly attack on Umesh Pal outside his home. Ahmed was able to get out of prison due to favors from political leaders.
Moreover, authorities released Ahmed from the facility days before his departure, where he and his brother were attacked at point-blank range on live TV. The brothers were speaking with journalists on their way to a routine medical examination.
Authorities detained three men in connection with the case who conducted the act to make a name for themselves in the underworld. Soon, his wife went undercover with Sabir, avoided using mobile phones, and frequently changed locations.
