Janessa Jones, popularly known as Suga Diorr, went missing, which has alarmed the Sacramento community as they look for the artist. Authorities have issued an alert for the situation as the investigation is ongoing.
According to police reports, Janessa Jones was last seen leaving Hyde Park Lounge in San Jose on November 12, 2024, around midnight. Authorities searched the club’s surveillance footage, revealing details about the case.
The clips captured Jones talking to two men inside the lounge, one of whom was wearing a red shirt. Reports surfaced that the men offered her $500 to leave the club and travel elsewhere.
Moreover, the parking lot camera showed the rapper getting into a White Dodge Durango. Jones hasn’t been heard from since, and her phone was found in an abandoned parking lot in Salinas, California.
Before the discovery, Jones actively used her phone near the location, and authorities are still determining whether she traveled in a stolen, rented, or privately owned car. Unfortunately, the surveillance cameras failed to note the car’s license plate.
Further, the White Dodge Durango hasn’t released additional footage, complicating the investigation and raising concerns that Jones might be a victim of human trafficking.
Authorities detailed that Jones is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs around 165 pounds, and has green eyes. The 22-year-old didn’t have any intention of leaving her home, as she disappeared without her belongings.
Her family members and closest friends have issued flyers and social media posts for public knowledge. They have urged anyone with information about the missing rapper to contact the state police.
