While Guinean netizens are in uproar following the alleged videos of Equatorial Guinea’s Chief Baltasar Engonga surfaced online, it is also dragging big shot names like Minister Oburu’s wife, Cándida Okomo Nsue Mensa, wife of the Director of Presidential Security, the Attorney General’s wife, and so on.
Equatorial Guinea’s financial crime chief Baltasar Engonga claims that the 400+ alleged videos are fake and AI-generated and blames it as propaganda to ruin his image.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “I want to tell the People of Equatorial Guinea Those videos are AI–edited, my enemies are trying so hard to bring me down.“
However, it turns out the X account is fake, and the person is impersonating Baltasar Engonga. One X user wrote, “This is a fake account and he is impersonating the man. He just changed his profile name to the man’s names.“

As per the reports, the 400+ videos surfaced online following a fraud investigation against him, which led officers to his house and office to discover CDs containing videos of him getting intimate with different married women.
Nonetheless, the platform is now full of a list of women who were engaging in explicit activities with Baltasar Engonga.
Some of the important names in the alleged video list were the wife of Minister Oburu, the wife of the Attorney General, the wife of the Director of Presidential Security, and the wife of the Director General of Police, among others.
However, despite the sexcapade scandal, none of the mentionees have released any official statement regarding this matter.
Moreover, Minister Antonio Oburu, whose wife, Cándida Okomo Nsue Mensa, is also on the list of names, has not released any public statement.
Minister Oburu wife, Cándida Okomo Nsue Mensa, is reportedly a former R&B singer!
Born in May 1974, Minister Antonio Oburu married Cándida Okomo Nsue Mensa, the niece of the first lady, Constancia Okomo Mangue Nsue.
She is the daughter of Teodoro Biyogo Nsue Okomo, the dictator’s chief of protocol, and was the ambassador to the United States.
While there are no official records of Antonio Oburu’s and Cándida Okomo’s marriage date, she was reportedly a former R&B singer. She has also served as deputy general manager of GEPetrol since 2017.
In 2021, the pair made headlines after buying a 2 million Euro villa in the marina of the Cypriot coastal city of Limassol, which earned them Cypriot citizenship.
After a quick sneak peek at his Instagram, Minister Oburu seems to have welcomed two daughters and a son with his wife, Cándida Okomo, and they share a close bond.
While his Instagram wall is full of political achievements and moments with his daughter, there are no posts with his wife.
Furthermore, there is a news article online that claims that Minister Oburu’s father-in-law claimed that the pair had divorced without providing any evidence or reason for divorce.
With that, now netizens are speculating about whether the divorce of Minister Oburu and his wife had anything to do with Baltasar Engonga.
