JackSepticEye announced on his X (formerly Twitter) account that doctors diagnosed him with the condition. He expressed that he attended an assessment two weeks ago and received the reports on November 28, 2024.
The gamer is one of the prominent names in the gaming industry and has collaborated with several creators, including PewDiePie and Mark ‘Markiplier.’

Further, fans had speculated for years that JackSepticEye had autism due to his content-creating behavior. The YouTuber often spent most of his days with minimal social contact.
In a Reddit discussion post, one viewer claimed a year ago, “He is neurodivergent so it won’t be a surprise if he is actually diagnosed with the condition.“
However, many were skeptical about the sensitive issue before the official confirmation. They claimed the YouTuber might have acted that way to cater to his young audience.

He mentioned that before his diagnosis of ADHD, he struggled with focusing on his tasks, especially during childhood. The creator added that people like him weren’t suited for traditional learning.
Moreover, JackSepticEye stated, “Maybe coming to YouTube and finding other people who felt the same way made me realize as I got success that many people actually look up to us and relate to us.“
Similarly, the creator uploaded an informative video using several ADHD gadgets and games. He mostly used children’s games because doctors often diagnose the conditions at an early age.
His viewers appreciated the efforts and stated that JackSepticEye had raised awareness about the reality of ADHD. Although many labeled the condition as a “kids’ problem,” it caused life-long effects.
Additionally, the creator had a very quickly distractable nature and revealed that he started taking medication for it based on his psychiatrist’s recommendation.
