Big Sad 1900 had been criticized for snitching in a case that involved his friend’s pregnant wife!
Previously, the rapper traveled to Sacramento with his friend Kevin and his pregnant wife. Soon, the group crossed paths with a violent gang who allegedly fired at them at a close range.
During the incident, the convict fatally shot Kevin’s wife, and paramedics took her to the hospital. After filing a police report, the authorities took Big Sad into custody and kept him for a brief interrogation.
Further, the rapper provided the officers with essential clues in the case, mentioning that the shooters were traveling in a grey SUV. Big Sad spoke without the presence of his attorney, which complicated the matter.

Others alleged that Big Sad had left the woman unattended at the hospital before the officers arrived, fueling several controversies on the issue.
Months after the incident, the rapper continued to talk on the matter and provided a different narrative each time. Big Sad claimed people had taken his words out of context.
However, many critics pointed out that as a member of the Playboy Gangster Crips, the rapper was wrong for interacting with the police. They claimed that Big Sad had snitched on the gang community.
Big Sad had spent most of his teenage years behind bars at Boy’s Republic in Chino Hills. He said about his experience, “I was just so interested in gangs that I would go onto the computer and type in different hoods.“
Additionally, the rapper had worked for years to bring the gang culture to LA and wanted to keep the culture alive by influencing more people to join the group through his music.
After discussing his actions, others defended him and detailed that it was a human thing to do. He helped an injured woman, which shouldn’t be considered snitching.
