Are you wondering what to watch during this holiday season? The social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) has got your back as a feature film, Grain Husband, went viral online.
If I am not wrong, you must be here after seeing the tweet of Alan Wagner, who uploaded the DVD case picture of the one-of-a-kind movie Grain Husband. He captioned, “I’m actually interested to see what happens in this.“
As the movie’s title suggests, the husband does, in fact, become a grain. In the poster, his wife looks at him, a grain, I mean. For some reason, it appears three brothers hold the secret of human-to-grain transformation.

The DVD cover also features a quote from Richard Roeper, a renowned American columnist and film critic: “The three brothers … held the key.” No clue what he says here in the ellipses.
But one speculated it could be, “The three brothers (of the director kidnapped me and made me watch this drivel. I was handcuffed to the radiator and they) held the key.“
It also claims that the movie Grain Husband made it to Barack Obama’s Annual Top Films for Women in 2017. It further added, “THANK YOU FOR SELECTING OUR FILM, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRESIDENCY.“
But that’s not all amusing about it! It also suggested wine pairing for the film and recommended Dr. Aroused’s Boxed Cabernet Sauvignon that costs $19.99.
The tweet quickly became viral online, with over 739k views, 19k likes, and 1.2k retweets on the platform.
Let’s face it: The comment section is always full of hilarious responses!
While some understood the assignment and added hilarious comments, others began searching for the movie online. As I already did that, there’s virtually nothing about the movie online. Sad face!
Suggesting the sequel movie title, X user The Bag Hunter wrote, “Grain husband 2: oh not a grain!” Meanwhile, another added, “Babe, would you still love me if I were a grain?“
One user excitedly wrote, “Time to see if the husband is the wheat or the chaff.” Let’s hope he will give us updates later about his findings!

Likewise, one pointed out the interesting details of the DVD cover as he wrote,
“Any helpful quotes from critics?”
“Maybe the plot synopsis…”
“Put it in with ellipses”
Amidst ‘Grain Husband’ jokes, X user Tom Davenport wrote, “This is the perfect intersection of “is this AI” and “I could totally believe this is on a DVD shelf somewhere.”
Given the lack of information, it seems fake, hinting at a potential digital altercation of the image or use of AI. However, such movies do exist; they just don’t make it to the spotlight or mainstream media.
Furthermore, the claims in the DVD poster are entirely false as there is no such quote from Richard Roeper for the film. Moreover, Obama’s annual 2017 list did not feature the movie Grain Husband—I hope you didn’t actually think it did!
