Noah Kahan and his siblings grew up in an inter-religious family
Noah Kahan, a well-known American singer-songwriter, was born to a Jewish father and a Christian mother.
Noah’s father, Josh Kahan, and mother, Lauri Berkenkamp, inspired him to pursue a career in music.
His Jewish father, Josh, taught him to play guitar, whereas his Christian mother, Laurie, who is also a well-known writer, inspired him to write songs.
Furthermore, growing up in an interreligious family along with his three siblings, Kahan stated that his Jewish roots play a significant part in his identity.

Noah Kahan’s elder sister, Sasha Kahan, is a doctor
Kahan’s elder sister, Anastasia, aka Sasha Kahan, is a pediatrist; she has a Doctor of Medicine- MD degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Sasha is currently working as a research fellow at the Western Pediatric Surgery Research Consortium.
Prior to that, she was an associate consultant at Trinity Partners from 2015 to 2017.
Furthermore, Sasha has a Bachelor of Arts and Neuroscience degree from Dartmouth College.
Noah Kahan’s younger brother, Simon Kahan, is a production Coordinator and Consultant
Simon Kahan, the youngest of the Kahan siblings, is currently working as a production coordinator at Established and a Sales Consultant at SimpleTix.
Likewise, after earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from American University, Simon has worked as an intern and consultant for several companies.
Prior to his recent job, Simon worked as an Intelligence and Imagery Analyst Intern at Athenium Analytics.
He also worked as a Project Manager at Epic for a year and as an Implementation Consultant at SeatGeek.
Noah Kahan’s elder brother, Richard Kahan, is a firefighter and Bladesmith who often shares his work on Instagram.
Furthermore, Noah loves spending time with his siblings and often shares their pictures through his social media platform.
