27-year-old American rugby union player Ilona Maher, currently representing her country in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, is perceived to be searching for her partner, especially after her July 19 TikTok clip went viral, gaining 6.2 million views.
Ilona actually made a TikTok video parodying, “I cannot wait to get into the Olympic Villa. It’s gonna be a crazy summer. I will be probably the fittest bird in there.”
Then, after the off-camera person in the video told her that her fellow athletes live in the Olympic Village and not the Love Island villa, she jokingly said that she still is going to ‘try to couple up early on’ as her only intention, at last, is to find the love of her life.

It probably was just an act, but still, she received a lot of commentary on it, as people left comments like, “You can find Love AND play rugby,” “I’m here for Ilona’s love journey in Paris,” and many more.
Well, this apparently led people to wonder if she, in real life, is looking for a partner. But whatever happened after the TikTok clip upload appears to be witticism, not more than that. Jokes apart, rugby player Ilona Maher doesn’t appear to be interested in having a romantic partner for now.
